In the early hours of September 24th, 2014, the Sealant and Waterproofing Association held its annual fishing derby at the Port Credit Marina. Six boats headed out on a perfect day on calm waters. Over a dozen fish were caught – ranging from a respectable 4 lbs 3 oz to almost 20 lbs. Following the derby, everyone gathered at The Brogue Irish Pub for a great lunch and the trophy and prize presentation.
The trophy for the biggest fish went to Craig Bowie on Salmon Express, reeling in a 19 lb 14 oz salmon. Second place was awarded to Matt Roberts with a 10 lb 9 oz catch and third place was awarded to Chris Ecanimo at an even 10 lbs.
