On October 5th there was a record turnout of 90 member representatives for the SWA Luncheon Seminar on CSA S413 and Waterproofing of Parking Structures in New Construction and Restorations. The seminar was held at The School in Unionville.. The seminar was presented by James Cooper and Michael Pond of Read Jones Christoffersen Ltd. The duo highlighted best practices, pros/cons for each system, typical life spans, corrosion mechanisms at play as well as critical aspects of design to blend new waterproofing technologies with older structures and waterproofing systems.
