On May 3rd, SWA hosted a luncheon seminar on Bill 142, the Construction Lien Amendment Act. A very interactive presentation was provided by Sandra Astolfo and Faren Bogach, Partners with WeirFoulds LLP. Attendees were very eager to discuss prompt payment and the new adjudication process to resolve project disputes which will help them get paid!
